Ancient Islamic. Samanid kingdom. Massive silver Multiple Dirham struck under caliph Nuh III bin Mansur I who ruled from AH365 to AH387 (967 - 997 AD). Arabic inscriptions on both sides, an unusual muling of Nuh II obverse and Nuh III reverse. Nice gray cabinet tone. Comes with small acrylic display stand.
