The 24 Seki Series from Akkeshi Distillery continues with its 12th release, Hakuro. This single malt whisky marks the time of year when the summer heat begins to fade, and the coolness of autumn starts to take hold. True to Akkeshi’s signature style, Hakuro is primarily aged in Mizunara barrels, allowing the whisky to absorb the unique characteristics of this rare wood.

Tasting Notes:
— Aromas: A captivating nose with sandalwood aromatics, honey, Dakea bread, and pastry cream.
— Palate: Rich and smoky with a delicate persimmon-like sweetness throughout.
— Finish: Bittersweet chocolate, black tea, and smoky incense linger on the finish.
