Excellent British East India Company Flintlock Pistol

An excellent flintlock conversion to percussion pistol made in the Tower of London armory circa 1870. A classic East India Company era flintlock pistol, converted to percussion, of characteristic form with hardwood stock and brass furniture, the lock converted to percussion and marked “TOWER” with royal crown, and stamped proof marks on top of the barrel. Well worn and used, but in excellent condition. Pistol length 15 inches. The action is strong, and hold and strongly snaps from full and half cock. With custom metal stand (entire display measures 15"L x 2.5"W x 8.25"H. This is an antique and not warranted to shoot without the aid of a skilled professional. Ex Bangor, PA collection.
