Product Description
A very large iron spearhead dating from the Viking era, c. 9th-12th century AD. A heavy combat weapon, which would have been affixed to the end of a long spear and hurled toward the enemy. Made of iron with long diamond-shaped head, slightly raised midrib, and rat-tail tang, bent at a 90-degree angle when it was affixed to the spear shaft.
