1985 $ 1 Federal Reserve set with top label, ERROR Note, Repeater, and Bookends

THIS SET HAS SO MUCH GOING ON, SO I’LL TRY TO DESCRIBE EVERYTHING IN AN ORDERLY FASHION.

Firstly, this is a 1985 $ 1 Federal Reserve set of notes from the Richmond Federal Reserve bank.

This set has the original End Label, which was on top of the original brick from Package # 3966 and is from the RICHMOND 1985 series and has 6 notes. (see all the pics)

There is the End Label for package # 3966 from the original block of 4000 notes from the BEP serial showing number E 15860001 A, which is PMG Certified.

There is the first note in this brick which matches the End label. The serial number is E 5860001 A. The note is graded PMG 64 Choice Uncirculated.

There is the last note of this brick, serial number E 15864000 A. The note is graded PMG 63 Choice Uncirculated.

There is an ERROR NOTE with an inverted 3rd printing (this is where they print the serial number, which they printed upside down). This note is also mis-cut and mis-aligned. The serial number for the Error note is, E 15860706 A. The note is graded PMG 65 Gem Uncirculated.

Then you have the note in front and the note behind the Error Note. This is called “the book ends”. The serial numbers are, E 15860705 A and, E 15860707 A. Both of these notes are Graded PMG 66.

Then to top it all off, there is a REPEATER NOTE, serial number E 15861586 A.

This truly is a ONE OF A KIND SET.

I haven’t seen anything like it. It’s very rare that someone saved all of this and kept it together as a complete set.

The color just pops off the notes. The margins are centered very well, except for the ERROR NOTE, and the ink just pops off the notes.  The colors are bright and bold. The vibrant colors and well-preserved paper add to its visual eye appeal. The notes show no sign of wear on the corners or the sides.  All of the corners and edges of the notes are crisp and clean.  There are no pinholes, rips, stains, or tears.
